    @winsor yep I'm assuming you're referring to Robyn..she's like an old fashioned matron. Nobody else would have said anything negative. Julie's my favourite but they're all pretty lovely, even Robyn but she's just the bossy matronly type.

    thanks everyone, I was driving home from work thinking about it and have decided to not let it get me down. I'm on 400 and they apparently don't go over 350 so there's no way in hell they'd be upping my dose. Not sure that's the answer anyway tbh. I do have some extra gonalf in the fridge so could throw in another 25 per day if I decide to but I'd just be worried I was going to overcook things then I might be kicking myself and wondering if I hadn't of done that what would have happened. Hopefully things will pick up and I have a bunch of eggs that are just taking their time to get moving. Yes @Tahli I've accepted de so it's not like I was expecting to not have to go there I guess it's just that I wanted to feel like this shot was a good one and then I can close the door. But I was thinking that I just want a baby and I have to accept what will happen as that's what a last go is isn't it. It's not like I haven't already had 10 cycles before when I was younger. So what will be will be. See what happens and hope that I get to transfer!!!

    love you ladies
    I think it's so easy to let one nurses comments really cloud your day. Try to remember that this is so everyday for them, it's a job and they generally just don't understand how important every piece of information, every comment, every blood test level, every scan is so so important to how we make it through the next 5,10,30,60 minutes. I find one will tell me something that flattens me then I'll speak to someone else and I'm like oh my god you're my hero. Totally irrational in real life I suppose but it makes sense in ivf. There's so much at stake. I'm glad you're feeling more positive now. Tuxcat my partner in 'last oe cycle' crime 😀

    @tuxcat - I don't know why they would even make comment to you about bloods as it can change quickly in any cycle. As an example, in all of my cycles my e2 has always been very low early in the cycle ( e.g day 5 of stimms) and then ended up over 10,000 each time just before EPU. Today the IVF nurse was asking me what I thought about PGD and told me there were degrees of abnormal and the problem with PGD was that you could be discarding an embryo that only had a degree of abnormality. I assured her that I had no worries in that regard as all mine tested have had numerous chromosomal defects, but I mean seriously she shouldn't have made those comments - those are for the embryologists or genetic scientists to make.

    @Gangini good luck for tomorrow
    @tuxcat thats not fair on you...
    Far out i'm over these people having no empathy for their patients.
    We are paying them so much and its their job to help.. not make judgments on results. They should try to reassure you at the beginning of the cycle.

    Huh????? A "degree of abnormality" is still frucking abnormal from where I'm sitting and personally, I wouldn't want to keep it/transfer it just in case...WTF is she on about????
