I do that a lot atm. Today it also included putting both kids to sleep on my lap in the rocking chair at the same time. Lucky DH was there at the end as poor DD was being nudged off my lap so DH saved her (while DS then proceeded to sprawl all over me). Apart from being extremely uncomfortable and squashed my heart almost burst with the cuteness...

That's about as much magic as I ever had. It's hard when you don't feel like you're doing enough but trust me you are.

When I had a newbie and a toddler, I had newbie in the Moby Wrap pretty much constantly and toddler (horror child) on my lap.
Such a HARD time and you're doing so amazingly well.

I am amazed at how grown up my DS looks in jeans. First time he has worn jeans/long pants in over a year.

Our nap time today involved me pushing DD1 in her pram in her bedroom to get her to frigging sleep whilst holding DD2. This is what happens most days I'm on my own with them. I have also learnt to leave a sugary treat out for DD1 when she wakes so she leaves me to rest a bit longer with the baby (who I'm still holding) and doesn't pull the kitchen apart looking for something!!!

Cranky. I am very fortunate to have two days a week to myself while the kids are at school and I'm off work. I love these days. I get to run errands, get the house clean and have some time to chill. Monday (my other day off) was ANZAC Day so the kids were home so I was hanging out for today but what do you know.... DS2 refused to go to school. So he's home with me and I'm just plain old resentful.

Unsure when my life took this turn. Feeling blue and whilst I understand most of it is a combination of pregnancy hormones and nostalgia - doesn't make me any less blue đŸ˜

Feeling accomplished after an afternoon of baking with DD. We are off on a road trip tomorrow to my cousin's for a picnic, can't wait.

Contemplating bugging hubby to fix my bike up so I can go for a ride tonight. *looks at belly and sighs*
