I am wondering if anyone has the magic answer of how I am supposed to comfort 2 upset children at once (1 being a newborn and the other a... thrashing around 3yo)?

    I feel ya!

I'm wearing baby and gave the toddler sugar and tv.

Mine eldest is 4 so bit easier but TV is my lifesaver. Netflix have lots of cool kids movies and shows. I also use bribery often it's amazing how a kinder surprise fixes everything. A bruised knee no longer hurts once the wrapper comes off. Mother of the year 😁.

    Hope you found a solution!

I am drinking wine for the first time in 2? years or so. Oh wine how I love thee. I am hoping DD does not want a feed in the next 2 hours from me (I think I expressed enough to last her if she wakes up)

Oh - TV and sugar is the way I handle most things. The issue I have is DS refusing nap and then falling asleep at 3 or 4 and waking up soooooii cranky (crying/thrashing around). Even TV/sugar does not cure that!

I think I need to clone myself...

DH is trying to do it. And bottle feed. It is taking so much effort to stop myself from telling him HE IS DOING IT WRONG.

Can you get to bed and sleep if he settles soon? How was his day sleeps?

Run a bath. Get into it with both babies. That usually comforted both kids/all three.

2 arms, 2 legs so 2 laps for tandem cuddles.

I spent many hours with a tiny baby in one arm and a weeping toddler in the other. Rocking backwards and forwards. Endlessly.
