Then Foxtel said they could do it but when I got DF to call them back to connect it (as our Foxtel is in his name) they changed their mind and said they couldn't do it. I cried at this point (I was also 34 weeks pregnant and supposed to be working don't home to avoid a 5 hr commute with friggin sciatica but obviously couldn't because no internet 😡). Then I called Foxtel again a week later out of desperation hoping the person DF spoke to had just been mistaken. In the end they were able to install ADSL1 which is incredibly slow but a hell of a lot cheaper than mobile internet.

Anyway.... The point of my ramble is to try Foxtel if you haven't already, and be persistent!

As for the NBN... Well I'm incredibly lucky to have it at my new house (I think only because the estate was owned by a very prominent yet dodgey political). Most areas won't get it for years 😒
Yup no nbn here and terrible mobile reception. Anyone would think I live out in the sticks!

Years away here as well when we moved to Canberra I was gob smacked as we were told no landline or Internet at our home. It took 8 months and persistent weekly calls to finally get sh.itty ADSL1.

Absolutely mind blowing in the capital city of this country - an 8 month wait to get ****e Internet!!

See, we didn't have a problem getting ADSL2+ when we were in Cbr. Although, I will admit, considering it is the nation's capital, there are a lot of things that need improving!

on hold to PHI. Have been for the last 20 minutes all because they sent me a txt saying our premium had not been paid this month. WTF!!! You deduct it from our credit card and have done for over 5 years. Seriously what the hell

feeling really sad and down after the dream (nightmare!!) I had last night. dh and I had broken up and he was marrying someone else. I was there talking to him begging him please just don't marry her. and he was talking to me about it in this really calm, cool, logical way like he usually does, which hurt even more. shocking dream. weird how something not real can evoke real feelings.

    Default I am.....#16

So cranky. After 30 minutes on hold I finally get through to my PHI. They tell me yes sorry about that we know it's a problem your card will be charged today - no disruption to cover.

My response well since you know it is YOUR problem how about not sending messages saying the affected members need to contact you and waste 30 minutes on ****ing hold 😡

Huge hugs. I have had similar dreams whilst pregnant recently and it has put me off for the whole day!!
