We have the birthing/parenting class this weekend and then the physio tips for labour and baby massage next weekend .. Am anxious as anything but I think the lead up is the worst ... Down to 6 weeks to go and if we induce then it's 4 or 5 ... The anticipation and waiting is terrible

I was really struggling with the anticipation when I was still worrying about whether the cerclage will hold. But once it became clear that my body was doing its job and I would go to term, I relaxed about everything.

I read so much with DS Barca! I literally didn't remember a thing. Once he was here my instincts kicked in and I just did what worked for us (and went against all the books!). He's a happy and well adjusted 2.5 year old. Don't stress too much.

Not that I can talk. I'm a big bundle of nerves this time, not sure why as I was so chilled with DS but our TTC journey was a lot rockier and with a loss so I think it's just shaken me a bit.

I'm really really looking forward to having her safely in my arms!

Hey guys I don't know how to upload a photo will try soon... She's off CPAP and feeding tube in her nose now so going to try feeding soon... She's out of NICU later today to the special care nursery... I changed her first poo nappy today which was exciting and about to go down for another hold... She's a grumpy bum and not loving the humi crib much happier when she is left alone haha.. Can't wait to be more hands on in the nursery hope your all travelling well also looking at another 2-3 weeks here for her and another 3-4 days for me... If I can manage that!

Ttc that's so wonderful she's upgrading to nursery. Such a good sign. Congrats on the nappy change. Lots more of those in your immediate future haha.
Thinking of you, can't wait to see pics (it's very easy to upload but if you struggle let us know and we can step you through it)

I went to birthing classes with DD but to be honest it was pointless. The only thing I got out of it was how to breastfeed.

Didn't read any books, just did what suited me and bub. She's slept 7-7 from 12 months old, so I think relaxing and going with the flow helps. It's amazing how babies latch onto how you are feeling. I am a fairly relaxed person and hence DD is however my sister is very anxious and so is her son. He feeds off it. My plan this time is exactly the same, go with the flow but I also know plans don't always come together lol

Congrats ttc!!! How exciting! Bub sounds like she is doing well! And can't wait to see a pic!

3 weeks on Monday and we meet bub! Can't wait as I have so much fluid in my legs... Tomorrow is my last day of work and I'm only working until lunch dd birthday is tomorrow too, she turns 2 and I'm more excited than she is lol she has no idea what's going on lol

TTC that is fabulous. Zoe sounds like she is a tough little cookie, just like her mumma is to be dealing so well with the difficulties!

I have somehow got this ridiculous bloody cough back!!! 😠 had an OB appointment this morning. He said my bloods from the weekend tests were perfect except my white cells are elevated probably because I still have the same virus I had 9 weeks ago! !! total bull****!

Great news though- no GD which is quite miraculous given my PCOS. The next time I have to go back to see him I'll be on maternity leave! Getting so excited!

This is a cropped photo from one where my partner is holding Zoe... Limited pics as phones aren't allowed in nurseries but the nursery we are in now is a lot more relaxed as we bypassed the next level nursery as there were no beds and we wanted her out of NICU as she was well enough to be out and when there in there it's limited interaction.
