Daily monitoring- wowsers. You are in fantastic hands with your doc. Hope that the steroids bulk her up a bit - but yes at this point some babies do better out than in,

Thinking of you - hoping you have everything ready.

It's scary when they start talking abut preterm labour I know. Give yourself the time to get emotional - then get up tomorrow and just take each day as it comes.

Your team will know when she needs to come out - get plenty of rest in the meantime if you can.

And enjoy each and every movement and kick while you can!

Well meshell when I say doing nothing - I still worked 48hrs last week. Just nothing physical. I can't justify putting this baby at risk.

Thanks and yes but I guess when My Dr suggests daily monitoring you know things aren't great! He still manages to keep things so calm which I am greatful for... I just hope she gets to 32 weeks as they all said that's the better time to be prem...
We are ready but not that it will matter as she won't be home for a while... Pram was delivered today and car seats need installing but again we will handle when we know she's coming home... So glad I bought the capsule now

Wow, @ttc1981, that is full on. But glad to hear you're in good hands! Keeping my pelvis crossed (haha) that she improves and stays where she is for a little bit longer.

had a mini scare yesterday, Bub stopped kicking and moving as much as she should have been, so ended up at the delivery ward for monitoring and ultrasound. She's fine now though, thankfully! Weighing 1.5 kg now at 29w, so they're happy with that. Might have had something to do with the 80 hour week I worked last week! Back to more regular hours from now on, thankfully - and finishing up at 33 weeks - can't wait to embrace potato-hood!

OMG ttc! I hope things start improving with the steroids xo I will be thinking of you! At least your docs are on top of it

Oh Hermia, that does sound scary! I bet you are feeling relieved now!!!

Fingers crossed I find out when I finish work tomorrow and when it is likely bub will be born as I'll be having a c-section this time... Definitely not going through what I did last time!

CTG went great today... apparently lots of variation which is good... second shot tomorrow and hoping the daily CTG goes well till next Tuesday and she has grown... she did apparently grow a little last week so that is good... KEMH is interesting and lots of demanding people there... one lady next to me was 36 weeks and demanding a scan and then went hysterical when she found out she could be delivery in the next few weeks and the bub was 2.5kg's... I know we each have our own issues but I just sat there thinking I wish I was in your predicament...

Interesting is an understatement... Care is top notch and I never wait around so won't complain but some of the complaints I was hearing were so ridiculous... When I left the lady said your one of our serious ones at the moment and your so calm... I was like I'm freaking out on the inside but if I stress myself out it won't achieve anything... The lady next to me was sobbing because she took 30 minutes to find a car bay (I found one in 5 minutes)... The poor nurses there really do get it... The reception staff were taking deep breaths as I left... I'm so taking them chocolates tomorrow least that will make them smile a little
