I'm thinking Gold Coast. I wasn't too keen on it but then ended up there through the emergency department and had a couple of scans through the early pregnancy unit. Everyone has been so lovely and the facilities are all so nice and new.
I was considering Mater in Brissie also.
Where are you going?
Ps. I got a bonus glimpse at bub today because I had a boob scan and the guy let me take a peek! So cool

That's so exciting to have seen bub again! Hope the boob scan went ok too.
I will be going to the Mater Mothers.
So today went well for me - I'm 8 weeks exactly and had scan with Warren to check on bleed. It's reduced, which is great! Bub is doing well and we got to see its little nub arms and legs moving about! Heartbeat perfect at 150bpm. But will be on bedrest and meds for another 2 weeks!

Ohh that's so cool!!! It's funny that our pregnancies are a bit similar with our bleeds. Mine had reduced by the second scan too! Have your DDs still being staying with mum/mil?
The sonographer let me get a video of bubs yesterday. I can't stop watching it! It's so cute and has a little wiggly butt haha
So jealous that you're going to Mater! Dh isn't fond of the idea of me going there because we're down on the gc. I just know it's a good hospital. I don't know how easy it is to get into a hospital that's not local, whether I need a special referral or something. Oh well, I've just got to commit to gch.

I'm sure the GC Hospital will be great too! It is a bit tricky to get into another public hospital if you aren't listed in their catchment.
That's wonderful you got a little video. How sweet!
My mum has been wonderful and really stepped up to help out but unfortunately my MIL is falling short. Don't get be wrong, I appreciate the help. But all of a sudden she is "the sickest person on earth" with "the flu" which isn't actually a flu it's a cold .
It's fine we'll just keep plugging along doing our best to get through the next couple of weeks and then hopefully I'll be back to full duties.
