My DH does an hour commute and we are in Adelaide 😳 it's not that bad. I'm only 10 minutes from my work now but used to have a 40 minute commute when I had a different job.
Also - jobs may change? For us we could realistically end up working anywhere so I actually wouldn't choose a suburb to live in based on proximity to work (within reason of course). Also if you're only renting if the commute gets too much you could move again!

Z. We moved to a much better location recently and I'll have a 2 hr commute when I go back to work. It's worth it, love love love where we are living.

Well, we had another discussion tonight and DH said that Town Z ticks all of our boxes, and he really doesn't mind the commute. So, town Z it is!!
I'm pretty excited! Now we just have to get our house on the market next week and sell it! Hopefully that won't take too long, 2 houses in our street sold within days recently, so fingers crossed 😄

WWYD - Where to live?
Town Z all the way! Your DH can always spend more time with the kids on the weekend while you enjoy some 'you time' at the beach!!! 😝 Then your mum could babysit the kids while you and DH go for a nice dinner need together
