    Default Books for older sibling

Does anyone have any recommendations for books that introduce the concept of becoming an big sister?

I'm 10 weeks and we've started Talking about the idea of a new baby with our dd and she is not keen on the idea AT ALL - in fact she outright has said she doesn't want a baby and we should get rid of the baby cot etc. she'll be 4 next week.

Realise that she's no choice in the matter but would really like to bring her round without too much upset.

    Thanks 😀

Im not sure if you mean books for yourself or your daughter?
If you do mean for your daughter I think that's a good idea, a fictional book that you can read to her at bed time about becoming a big sister. It might make her excited about the whole thing. I'm not familiar with any personally but a quick Google search shows that there are lots of options out there, perhaps it would be a good birthday present idea

We got a few for dd when expecting ds but maybe look at "I'm a big sister" . We got it as a gift to her from ds and it talks about both what the baby 'does' and what the little girl can do as a 'big sister'
