I'm new here and just signed up. My 3.5 years old daughter has chalazion on left upper eye lid. It has been there for nearly 6 months now. Been to a ophthalmology and Doctor when she first had it. The doctor advised to apply hot/warm compress on her eye or no need to do anything as it will go away by itself. While the ophthalmology suggested surgical removal. I feel surgical removal is kinda out of question cos need to use general anesthesia. She is too young for that. I'm now based in Adelaide and very new to this area. Thinking of seeing an opthalomogist here. Any recommendations people from SA? I notice it seems her chalazion has grown bigger. She doesn't feel any pain but ocassionally she does feel something on her left eye. I'm very concern and need help and advises here pls. Thanks
