I feel like I am in a bit of a rut these days. Things at work and home are getting me down. Nothing specific, no major events just a general feeling and the usual vicious cycle.
Anyway I thought it would be helpful for myself and hopefully others if we could share some small goals and achievements.
I will start with a few goals for the week:
- decluttering sewing room
- sew pants (bought fabric 2 months ago !)
- no more buying coffee this week at work

I am up to date with my laundry, that can be a rare achievement.
I have menus planned for the next couple of nights.
I need to make a couple of appointments, one with my gp, and one with my hairdresser. marie.

A lathe i can make bowls, candle stick holders, chair legs and some other fancy stuff.
The one above is a multi tool (ShopSmith) made bak in the 50ies i think. It can be used as a table saw and numerous other applications. In the bak ground is a newer dedicated lathe. Its black with shiny metal sections

Sounds like a handy tool to have.
I have seen pics of some things you have made in other threads and they look really good!
Do you do this as a hobby or part of your occupation?

Sadly I haven't started on any of those goals.
But the week isn't quite over yet so I hope to at least declutter the sewing room.

Life can become quiet hectic..... Things were getting on top here, so on Thursday I made a list for myself to do on Friday....
I made that list and crossed off each one as I did it, felt good.
Maybe do a list that you can follow in the week....
Don't put pressure on yourself or you won't do it with pleasure it will feel like a "job" make I exciting.
Yesterday's goals for me was....
Wipe down the walls
Wipe down the doors
Clean skirting boards
Tidy all rooms
And clothes washing
Clean all linen and change bedding
