    Hi @littlerayofsunshine87
Sorry to hear you got a BFN. Very upsetting iVF really does play tricks on us doesn't it. It can be hard to reconcile with a BFN when all the hormones are telling us otherwise :/

Our FS allows back to back FET/FET. Sometimes FET/STIM & STIM/FET but never(to my knowledge) STIM/STIM.
Yesterday I started #6 it's my 3rd back to back cycle. I find it easier to deal with the disappointment of a failed cycle if I can get straight back into it. Are you doing FET? What's your protocol?

    Hi girls,
Anyone have any experience with Progynova? I started my first FET HRT cycle yesterday. Does anyone have any experience with side effects?
I'm on 2x2mg 3xdaily. Today i think I had my first ever hot flush :/ . i have been ridiculously tired all day & have had a headache all afternoon/evening. Do the side effects pass after a few days? I hope they do! I don't want to be like this for the next 3+ months. Apparently Progynova has to be continued until 10-12wks gestation. If the side effects don't improve i might cancel. The nurse said I would LOVE Progynova???

Thanks everyone for the support. Its so lovely to have people understand what your going through. It hasn't helped Ive had a not so great week at work. Im actually a nurse and I work in a Special Care Nursery on a maternity ward. I really love my job but this week has been so challenging. Yesterday I looked after a baby who was her mothers 10th child. Mum has an extensive social history and is also IV drug addict and has none of her children in her custody. I just felt like yelling at her and asking her does she realise how lucky she is to be able to have children and that its a gift. Ive got a couple of days off now so Ill be able to regroup.
@Heyside yep I stop the progesterone and wait for AF. @lotsathoughts I hope they do too, my nurse said my FS does do it and just to chat with her about everything. @julianicholson I will definitely chat it over with her. I honestly feel up to it though. Egg collection was the hardest part. But we have 9 frozen embies so it'd be just a FET. But don't want to risk a failed cycle either. @Muchulu1 Yep will be doing a FET (so would hopefully be doing s STIM/FET). To be honest I don't know what our protocol is. I have to ring and speak with my FS tomorrow and hopefully get an appointment and get a plan in place.

Once again thank you everyone xx

My ultrasound is in the morning (to check number of follies) and potentially EPU on Friday (unless cancelled). Have been on Gonal-f & Cetrotide. Tonight I've been feeling a little "full" in my pelvic region, which feels like the sensation I get before I ovulate. I am getting slightly concerned as I don't want to ovulate (but also in the back of my mind I'm thinking it's not really possible because I'm on Cetrotide) then the other half of me is thinking it's a good sign & I may have more follicles than normal, which could be causing the sensation. I think deep down I'm more anxious & freaked out than I want to believe.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
As @lotsathoughts said, it the multiple follicles. It's a very strange feeling. If you're concerned about bloat or OHSS call you FS / nurse.

It does go away - so hang in there!

@littlerayofsunshine87, so sorry to hear of your loss & geez it must be hard for you at work each day. I feel your pain regarding the mother you spoke of. I just don't understand the universe. So many decent people struggle whilst others out there, that couldn't give a rats about their kids, seem to breed like rabbits.
@Liletak, thanks. I wonder if some 'trapped wind' may have contributed to the sensation. After I left work, I 'let one go' and the sensation disappeared!! I got worried that I had ovulated against the medications, but was pleasantly surprised to see 7 follicles!! I'll keep my feelers out for OHSS but I was told it's less likely as I have a lower AMH.

@Muchulu1 - I use progynova in some of my cycles hun and unfortunately have to use it when I am not cycling as well hun as I have low estrogen and get really bad headaches. I have to say I don't really get any bad side effects if anything it does make me feel a little bit more in a randy mood haha!! Is it definitely the progynova giving you those side effects is it the only thing thats changed? Maybe check with your nurse.
@littlerayofsunshine87 - It is great to speak to people on here who know exactly how you feel isn't it. It must be so hard going through all this being in the job you are hun you must be so strong especially dealing with ladies like that I would find that so hard. It must be such a rewarding job though, long term I would love to do something like that. 9 frozen embies is amazing hun if you feel up to it and your fs agrees I say go for it x
@hopefull29 - I can't say I have experienced cold sores with syneral or puregon and haven't heard of that before maybe it is the peel you have had, hope it clears quickly for you. You aren't on prednisone or anything like that are you hun? Good luck with your scan x

Dear All! I am all new to this, I have a son that is 2.5 year old and me and hubby have been trying for 2 yrs now for #2. the first time was so quick and easily concieve with no problem god knows the second time took so long. We went to see FS in Genea Sydney and had my first blood test today. will be going back in in afternoon to pick up my meds. until now I still can't believe I am doing this. All our blood test and result and hubby sperm result came back perfectly normal. We had conceive naturally in jan 2016 but it was chemical Pregnancy at 5 weeks and it was gone like a normal period after that we tried for another few months and said that's it let's pull the trigger and try IVF.

I am 33 and hubby us 42. I am not too old but I guess after 2 years since my first pregnancy my eggs did aged abit. I have been taking Chinese herbs and acupuncture for 10 months already, it did help me in regulating my cycle to 30 days but still no baby yet.

I hope I can get some support in this forum as going thru IVF is not easy both emotionally and financially and none of my family or friends know about this yet.

Hi! My name is Amy. I was over on the April May IVF/ FET thread and thought I'd introduce myself here!

I think my signature says it all but I have decided to do a natural FET in June and I'm just waiting on AF which should arrive around the 24th.

Look forward to meeting you all! I recognise some ladies! xoxo
