No hun a lining between 8-13mm is amazing, mine use to get to 10mm before my chemical last year and now its usually only around 7mm, Wazza predicts its due to trauma or infection 😳. Relax hun thats great! All good with me thanks just waiting for Tuesdays appointment, af is getting lighter and its only cd3 but thats nothing new for me either.

@Ashe87 - 9mm is great hun I have lining envy haha!!! Good luck for your transfer hoping this is it for you x
@Heyside haha good question! All going well I won't be needing that appointment!!! That would be the best thing ever!!
It's so hard to get all the scheduling to line up perfectly. I made it early incase we are going for another FET next cycle in which case I wanted to see FS before CD3. Sometimes there is a 6wk wait for an appt. & I didn't want to be out for 2 cycles just because I couldn't get an appt.
I figured if this cycle is like any of my others AF will arrive before Monday & I can get an early BT. Still hoping for a BFP but knowing we won't be on a waitlist to see our FS if things don't go as we hope will soften the blow a little.

Hi @Ashe87 mine was 10mm this cycle (FET) & everyone seemed pretty happy with that. Still waiting for our BFP but FS has never been concerned with my lining. I'm sure 9mm is great! Best of luck with your transfer. Hope you get a sticky one!

Oh wow how frustrating @Muchulu1 that you have to wait so long to get in again with your fs, so basically your put to the back of the queue again. Sounds like a good plan you have then to cover all basis but hopefully you won't need it x

@Heyside it does seem a bit ridiculous! All the scheduling can be so stressful.
How do your follow up appointments work? I've only ever been at the one clinic so I don't have anything to compare it with. I just figured it was part of the whole IVF package :/ The last few months I've been putting all my cycle notes & meds into an app on my phone so I can anticipate things & make appts well in advance. So far it seems to be working. Fortunately I have a very regular cycle.

It's the same with us. I've booked in a follow up appointment with our fertility specialist because he's really hard to get into. Unfortunately my cycles are all over the place so it is hard to plan. We'll miss this next cycle if it doesn't work but will hopefully get on the one after.

With lining my old fertility specialist at Genea wasn't as fussed about lining. We fell pregnant with a lining of around 5. He said he's had people that consistently fall pregnant with a lining of 4. He said it might just be the way our bodies are.

But I can understand why my new fertility specialist wants to cover all bases and am grateful for him trying viagra with me. Who knows if it will work...it's such a miracle when it does. I still get amazed when people can fall pregnant naturally. So many pegs in a row.

Hi everyone, jumping on this thread.

I am on my very first cycle using donor sperm (at 39!). So far on FSH, Aspirin, & currently Cetrotide. I'll be on HCG & Progesterone support post transfer. Have my USS on Wednesday am to check my follies. All going well, I'll have my EPU on Friday. I have a range of emotions floating around but trying to stay as calm as possible. Already preparing for a failed first cycle with hopefully a BFP on the second. LOL. If only it were that 'easy' huh?! Obviously, I'd love it to work first go but preparing for the worst to start with.

I have never been pregnant before although tried for a while with my ex. All my tests have come back fine so far, although my AMH is a tad lower than average for my age. My biggest concern is the quality of my eggs. Fingers crossed for us all!!

Welcome @GM9 fingers crossed it does work first cycle but good on you for being positive but also realistic. It's my first cycle too and I keep telling DH that it may not work first time but he doesn't want to hear it. I'm positive but don't want to get my hopes up for it to all come crashing down if it doesn't work first go.
Good luck for your scan Wednesday. I have my first scan Friday and hoping for EPU the following Monday or Tuesday.
You'll love this group, so supportive and the experienced IVFERS are very knowledgable.

@Muchulu1 - At my old clinic hun my fs would squeeze any fertility patients in as soon as an appointment was needed so that the next cycle could be planned quickly. With Wazza in Brisbane now I usually phone the nurse who speaks with Warren and they plan a cycle for me sending me a written plan. On my first scan I can then bring up any concerns like this time I will be asking about adding in growth hormone. If I wanted an appointment I would be able to get one I think. Sounds like a good plan that you have planned things and can anticipate an appointment.
@lotsathoughts - Thats reasurring to hear about lining hun, hoping the viagra does more for me this cycle as I will be on it longer where as last time it was a last ditch attempt. Hopefully it makes the difference for you too.
@GM9 - Welcome hun and good luck for this cycle, hope its good news on Wednesday. Sounds like you are pretty grounded about this but who knows hun it may work first time x
