I have thought about it and realised by school time they need to be up earlier anyway so at least we aee all used to it if we have early risers lol.

DH and I normally are early risers anyway so it doesn't bother me usually if DS wakes at the usual 6ish. Except on weekends. When I want a sleep-in. Or lie-in.

DS is 20 months. Bedtime is 7pm and he usually wakes around 7am. At home he will do 2-3 hr nap from 12:30. At childcare it's only 1-2 hours but that's only two days per week.

DD is 19 months and goes to bed at 6.30 and wakes normally about 8am.. She still has an afternoon nap from 12.30 to 2.30 or 3pm.

My 7 month old has decided the 5 o'clock hour is when he like to get up. It's killing me. He used to be 9, then 730, then 630. I've no idea how to stop this insanity.

He goes to bed between 6 - 7 PM.

    😴😩

I feel your pain. I find myself going to bed at 830/9 to cope.

Have you tried a later bedtime? 6pm is pretty early. Might not make a difference but worth a shot

It's starting to get cold now. Maybe that's it?

Cold or look at day sleeps (too many, first nap too early etc). The more you put bub to bed super early for that first nap to compensate for the 5am wake, the more bub will wake at 5am.
