    My parents have accomodation and if they'd forgotten to unlock one of the bedrooms, they would absolutely expect the guest to ring and let them know. Just ask for it to be unlocked!

    It's a shame that you've ended up paying more for a place that had 3 bedrooms when you only used two. Could've been soooo many things like an oversight...the cleaners locked it by mistake or owner doing it on purpose and being shifty. Saying it at end of trip serves no purpose really...if you were scared to say something at start then your going to look awkward saying it at end as they will wonder why u didn't mention it earlier.
