I know that antibiotics can stop the pill from being effective at preventing pregnancy, but can they bring on a period earlier than expected? I'm on the pill, not due for my period for another 10 days and I've got cramps and spotting. I'm on a second course of antibiotics at the moment.

If they can interfere with the pill, could you be ovulating?

Yes. As the ABs hinder the pill's effectiveness, your body may think you're on the sugar pills.
