This is now the fifth time in about 4 months...
Things I do when we discover 'them'
-treat everyone with combantrin (the medicine that kills all 3)
- frantically wash and sterilise everything
Things I do anyway
-keep kids finger nails short at all times -encourage and expect all kids to wash hands before food. We do too obviously
Our house is clean too, we don't live in a pigsty. We don't have a sandpit but there is one at dd1 school and one at dd2 kinder...
I'm so over it...
This might be tmi.. I know miss 5 touches her private parts (maybe to explore) as sometimes her hands are smelly I've had talks with her about always washing her hands after this but I don't think she always does
Any ideas on how to actually get rid of them?

Let their friends parents know and ask them to check and treat their kids?
It sounds like you are doing everything right and the kids are being reinfected.
Oh and steer clear of play centres. I've found the ball pits are germ pits. My DS in particular always seemed to get worms after a visit to a playcentre.

I would say they are being reinfected. It might be worth mentioning to the school and kinder and they might be able to do a general announcement to all the parents? Or remind kids to wash hands etc.
