Wondering if anyone has the same issue. Lately we have been having administrative issues with childcare. My kid was sick so I left a note on the communications book to not give dairy products, they rang in the morning to confirm, and they still fail to give my son the formula milk which I have brought which I stated is soy based and ok to give.
Another separate incident, we need to submit holiday forms in advance which I did, but they jot the wrong dates and rang me to ask why my kid is attending when it says we are on holiday.
The latest event is checking my latest statement they missed out on the last day of our holiday and charged us the full amount. When consulted, they said we filled in the wrong dates (start and end date). How is it possible it's wrong when there is another "number of days on holiday" and they should all add up? And if it didn't add up why didn't they call/email to check?
In addition they never respond to our emails, so everything has to be done through face to face or via phone.
I'm wondering if this is common for all, wondering if I should change Childcare since now I doubt every single action, since there is so many mistakes and they seem to blame us rather than acknowledge and learn from it.

How big is the centre?
I find a one or two mistakes a year I can live with. Beyond that no.
As for the holidays did you put the wrong dates down? In my experience they go from dates not from number of days.

Issues with childcare
I've only had experience with 2 Childcare centres but both charge full fees if you're on holidays anyway, so I that's never been an issue for us.
I would be very annoyed about the formula.
I'm a face to face or phone kinda person so the email thing wouldn't bother me either.

My DS goes to a large cc Centre. They've made a few mistakes, including giving him dairy twice when he's intolerant. It's frustrating. Usually they are apologetic and i just let it slide because in general i feel he is happy there and well looked after. I guess you need to make the call based on that?
