    Default What's your favourite dessert..

What is your go-to dessert for groups?
I need something relatively easy, as I'm doing 3 courses for 5 adults and 2 kids tomorrow night, and my 1 yo is teething so I will probably be doing it all one handed. I want to do something nice for dessert- any suggestions please?!
I can't use my slow cooker as it'll have a roast in it.

Lemon cheesecake - can prep in advance and everyone loves it. I'll share my recipe if you want it.

Fruit platter and dipping sauce - this is a go to if the meal before it has been heavy or rich. Fancy it up with a chocolate dipping sauce and cream

    Chocolate brownies

I find golden syrup dumplings really easy for a group, served hot with good quality vanilla ice cream.

Another one that's so easy but impressive is chocolate brownie heated up with vanilla ice cream. If you serve them in small bowls you can warm a few at a time in the microwave. The brownie can of course be made ahead of time to save preparation/cooking right at dinner time. For a fancy touch you could put a dusting of cocoa over the top.

Toblerone mousse - is my easiest and quickest and everyone loves it - very easy and you make it the night before - so on the night your serving it just grate fresh toblerone over the top and it's ready!
