I am nearly 17 weeks pregnant and have just come over from the UK but have no clue about how I go about booking in with a midwife/obs. I have visited my GP today and have had some blood tests done and a scan booked in at a local hospital but he was a bit hazy as to how I went about getting antenatal care. I am near Tamworth so am guessing I would have to go to Tamworth Base hospital/ Quirindi for it but other than that i'm a little clueless.
I would ideally like to have antenatal care with a midwife as that's what I have been used to in the UK.
