    Default Injections Support Thread #5

    Hi
I'm also new to this thread @charlibug and only had one other cycle of OI. I have Pcos (non insulin resistant) was on clomid but thinned my lining now on gonal f 37.5 with trigger shot which I had last Friday night so now in the 2ww. On progesterone aswell as was spotting towards end of cycle.
Nice to go back through the thread and see 20somethings story.
Where about are you in your cycle of you don't mind me asking

Day 7 of gonal f 50 and we had a follicle scan this morning.. doc upped my injections to 75 and will go for another scan on Monday to see if there's any progress and they will let me know when to do the trigger shot.

We have been TTC #2 for 2 years now and have unexplained secondary infertility.

I'm still learning all the processes and it's still a bit confusing to be honest

It's very confusing. I'm finding that I have to do a lot of research myself.
Did they tell you how your follicles were going? I went straight from clomid to adding gonal f on at day 12 as there wasn't a follicle and lining was thin.
I had just the one follicle. I was super nervous I was going to have too many and not be able to go ahead this month.
I had my trigger last week and my specialists said to get beta blood test today (7 days after) but from what I can see that might be too early and might just show up the trigger?
Anyone else been told to have beta early? I think she may of just got her weeks wrong when she told the date for blood test. I asked the nurse and she said hold off another week

Hello all, sorry I am new to this so hope I am doing this right. I have PCOS and have been ttc for 5years and been unsuccesful.
I am on my first round of FSH Gonal F Injections and had gone for an ultra sound last week to see if I had any follicles which I was happy to find out that I had only one and it was a good size. So I took the trigger shot that night of the pregnyl 5000 and did the pregnyl 1500 shot on Saturday just gone. I have been having stomach cramps and been feeling like I am going to get my period really soon is this normal or just from the all the drugs I have taken?? has anyone had this happen to them and still became pregnant, well I still have another 2 injections to go of the pregnyl 1500 and then I go for a blood test on the 22nd to find out if I am pregnant or not

Hey kaybennt, period symptoms can be similar to pregnancy symptoms. If you're feeling cramping it could be implantation?
How do you find taking pregnyl? I'm taking my first shot tomorrow.

Yr pregnancy test must be at least one week after your last pregnyl shot otherwise you may get a false positive result.

Hi all I haven't been on this thread.in ages hope your cycles went well @mmolly and @JNC_B2012 I hope your cycles both went ok back in October and you are now both pregnant.
@kaybennt - Welcome hun, sounds like you have had a long hard journey. I agree with @ELM13 the cramps could definitely be implantation an a pregnancy symptom so don't loose hope yet. Good luck x
@ELM13 - Hi hun 🤗, so are you in your tww hun and is it an IVF cycle? Good luck hope you get a Christmas suprise xx

Hey @Heyside ! Hope you're well - where are you at with your cycle?
Yeah I am cycling again (FET) with letrozole but adding pregnyl shots x 3 this time. First one went well today. Transfer is booked for Saturday.
We went for a consult with the DR after my levels went down at the second beta (last month's FET cycle) and she said everything worked the way it should've so it must've been a bad embryo. Hopefully the next one is good and the pregnyl will help it

Thanks @ELM13 all good with me, we are doing an iui before Christmas as we can manage to fit it in, I don't have high hopes as I know my chances are low but giving it a go. I had a scan this morning and so far have 4 follies the biggest being around the 11mm mark. I have another scan on Friday and hopefully can trigger soon. I am currently sat in hospital having intralipids, have had to drag DD along unfortunately but shes being good so far.
Oh your cycle is getting there hun how exciting, good luck with it all. Sorry to hear you had a chemical last cycle is that how they classed it?
