My son is only three weeks old so I haven't really experienced playing much yet, but I have noticed I'm better at the whole nurturing thing and my husband is far better at playing with him. I wouldn't feel bad; I'm sure you're doing well! Experiences like the museum etc are just as important.

I fed him, looked after him etc but I'm sure it was my dh by who was far more instantly in love than me, fast forward to 19 mth old and I'm definitely in love....just took a few months....didn't look back when I started 1 day per week work at 7 wo, shortly after and every few weekends, got more sad when I went to 3 d per wk work at 6 mth old.
