    This was a review on a self help book, not a question as to whether anyone liked self help books or not Doesn't matter. I've decided to delete it.

    In my 20s I have read self help books. It was more focused on positive thinking, setting goals, not having self doubt. At the time I found it really helpful and it motivated me to make some changes in my life for the better.
    I haven't heard of the book you are talking about but I definitely think there are some decent books out there.

    Hi there, i am definitely a Self Help Queen. The power of positive thinking is something i have developed for myself. Glass half full. Mental discipline. I have taught myself that. I see alot of trauma day to day. I can compartmentalize my thoughts. Anyway, just my experience.
