    So my furniture has arrived. It's ok, was what I expected but am regretting the style of the desk
    Now need to sort out rearranging the room.

    The bookcase is a simple cube but in solid oak.

    They look great! Definitely split them up though when rearranging them. Maybe even get some fancy storage boxes to put in those holes.

    You could put a pin board on the wall behind the desk too and pin some colourful things on there, photos, motivational sayings, calendar.

    I was thinking of sewing some fabric boxes for the bookcase to brighten it up and make it more kid friendly looking.
    I saw this pin board from kmart which I think looks really cool.
    And now need to order the chairs. Most likely will get the ones you suggested

    Im looking at these bedside tables. Our new bedroom is not quite as wide as my current one so we'll need new bedside tables. And i really like the idea of some bright colours
