I've just been listening to DP trying to explain my lining issues (didn't do too bad a job in '25 words or less').. And then his varicocele problem & treatment.. His last sentence was 'so in the next month or so I have to go back and have an ultrasound on my balls...' And then both he and his buddy started making stupid comments to each other and laughing and guffawing.. And I've ended up in a fit of giggles listening to them.. Oh to be a man..

He did a good job DP actually. I think it's good that he's talking to a friend about it.. Poor love has to listen to me talking non stop about it all.

I think it's FANTASTIC he can talk to his mate about it. Being in a new town, my DH doesn't know a single person he can talk to about our IVF. Unlike me, who fell apart after our MC, my husband never skipped a beat - the next day he went back to work as if nothing had ever happened.

Even when I met him he had no friends really. He had a huge family with lots of brothers and sisters, and they were living on an isolated farm, so none of them ever needed to make external friends. As adults they have all drifted apart (or in the case of 2 of them, we cut them off - not the sort of people we would like to socialise with.) At work he is a Manager (working directly for the board) and he is basically paid not to be anyone's friend! He is there to do a job - that's it.

I don't know how he does it TBH. Your DH must benefit greatly from having a mate he can offload to - and then laugh it out afterwards

Oh, FAR OUT. Are you going to call them and unleash the beast?

(As you all know, I would need NO encouragement to pick up the phone )

    AFM, doing surprisingly well

You might remember last month on 200iu of Gonal-F I was alternating between crying all day and fuming with rage. Lucky DH, he didn't know what he was going home to each night.

Anyway, I was a bit worried about how I'd go on the 425iu, but all good! I should be touching wood as I say that, but so far NIL side effects.

    Yay!

Just a brief update on me at 4dp5dt. Im in hosp with severe haemorrhaging. Im a mystery patient and having alot of tests done. I lost 500ml just on arrival & taken to resus ward. Im in no pain & this had no warning. Im just thankful to be alive. Sounds dramatic but I was **** scared. My ttc has come to an abrupt end. ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1456265258.729376.jpg

@BlondeinBrisvegas and @Blossom I've discussed in length with my ED co-ordinator and CFC what would be possible with my ED given she would reach her 'family limit' (6 pregnancies) if I fell pregnant.
I'd asked whether I could ask her to donate again so I could egg bank for a sibling. And I asked whether she could donate for me again if this cycle was unsuccessful. She's always been foggy about answering. CFC were always clear that if I fell pregnant she couldn't donate again according to SA law.
Seeings as my ED is teetering on her 'family limit' while I'm still actively cycling it also seems unethical to re-list her.
The ED co-ordinator had previously said my ED would most probably be removed from donating again if my IVF was unsuccessful.
I want to email my ED co-ordinator in a calm manner, hence venting here first.
