    Default Wedding Present Ideas

We've been told to "think outside the square". So what would you get for a young couple starting their life together?

Sky diving tickets with a card that says "Take a leap of faith together!"

You don't get much more 'outside the box' than that!

I bought a jar and filled it with a stack of small change and then icecream sticks - the top end had one of 3 colours and the bottom had details fur a date. So a red one was location, blue was what sort of food and yellow was the activity.

So depending on what you pulled out you would do different things.

Mid 20's, yes and I have no idea! That's part of the problem. I thought about a love poem in a frame, but is that a bit kitsch?

Do you have a nice photo of them both ? And then perhaps blow it up and frame it ? Or you could put together a collage of photos of them ? Either as individuals or as a couple ? I am assuming they already live together, so would have most house things already, as you normally give them as a gift. But I always love to buy something for someone they wouldn't normally buy themselves. Something to look back on 10 years down the track and think Californication gave that to us for our wedding

We got some really nice towels for dh's cousin with their names embroidered on them. Not that creative i know, but they loved them. That plus a contribution to the wishing well.

Etsy are usually great for wedding gifts - I've seen some lovely personalised wooden chopping boards, cushions, wall hangings etc..

You might find something you like here?

I found the perfect thing! ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1455614694.569204.jpg

lol. Lots of great things in that search MissKitty. Not sure how these made it on there though! I was going to look tonight when the kids were in bed. I tried this morning but they kept interrupting me.

There are a couple of things that I really like. But they are all different from each other. Hmmmmm
