Default 1st IVF cycle at 42

    Hi all,

New member here, I am 42 years old and about to have my 1st FET on Friday. I had 6 eggs collected, 3 fertilised, all 3 had day 5 PGD testing (due to age and miscarriages) and I have 1 genetically sound embryo waiting to be transferred this Friday. I am excited as well as nervous. Anyone here been in a similar situation?

I was 40 and now have identical twins from my first ivf cycle. I had 4 collected, 3 fertilised and transferred 2. One didn't progress and one split into identical twins. Anything can happen!!
Having said that, of course we were very lucky to have success first time. Good luck!
