I really need to shake up the meal roster at home. I'm unmotivated and bored. I have most major appliances. I need ideas that are suitable for two young primary school children.
If you can offer the recipe as well I would be deeply grateful!

ATM its pearl Cous Cous.
Oven roast some cubes of pumpkin. Fry some bacon, onion, garlic and mushrooms. Cook some pearl Cous Cous in chicken stock. Mix it all together and wilt some baby spinach in it. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and crumble in some feta. Can also add char grilled zucchini.
Eat it hot or cold.

I made this last night
I didn't put the chilli in, would double the sauce and served with a salad.
The kids asked for it in their lunch box (I couldn't as I used peanut oil, so next time will use coconut or olive) and for dinner again tonight.

My weird kids are totally into scrambled egg wraps. I add some cheese and spinach and its a healthy meal for them when I cant be bothered cooking.

Fish tacos are my most requested - I either do salmon strips or cubed blue eye cod , quick marinade with cumin, paprika , garlic, lime zest and juice and stir fry or pan fry , make a quick guacamole ( mash avo with lime juice and salt) , shred lettuce, grate cheese , avo/chili/tomato salsa ( just chop all into small cubes and add lime juice) and then serve in taco shells or pita bread or mountain bread for wraps ( DH and I also add chipotle mayo but DS doesn't like it)
When my nieces come over who don't like fish I make chicken schnitzel and cut into strips or beef strips as the protein

I always ask for corned silverside, spag bog, tuna bake, apricot chicken, chicken/bacon/mushroom carbonara and also smoked cod. Oh and rustic potato bake is GREAT for clearing out older veggies!

They'd have spag bog seven days a week if I let them.
Some great ideas in here!!
