Hey girls - thanks for the love. I was having a few horrid days and that sleeping/settling thread sent me over the cliff. I needed some time away from here. I was not coping with the loneliness so my DH organised my dad to visit and my girlfriend is visiting in two weeks. Bless him.
On a positive note- my baby is back to sleeping well. It appears that 4mth regression came and went. I just did what I usually do and She is back to her usual routine. I had to up my AD dosage but that is Working out now to a certain level. I'm not loving Canberra much tbh. People make plans and cancel last minute which is frustrating as I was needing the social aspect so so much. So I contacted my local church and I've been pretty busy with them which is great.
Another positive note is that my eldest started school two weeks ago and she is thriving!!! Despite moving states and knowing no one she has made friends and has already a few play dates lined up. I'm so proud of her. Dd2 is missing her big sister terribly but I'm keeping her busy with playgroups and other activities.
Thank you again.

Thanks for the update.
Looking back on our move to Perth nearly 5 years ago my circle of friends now is so different from the people I knew back then. I used to say you have to kiss a lot of frogs. And I mean a lot. I still miss Melbourne and my old friends. For so many reasons Perth will never really feel like home for me even though Melbourne isn't technically home either.
My DH did something similar as I had my 40th a few months after our move and got my parents and my best friend to come over. It was so good.
Take care and please look after yourself xx

You would think I'd be used to moving and starting afresh. I've done 1 international move and 3 interstate moves.
Made a gym friend today and we went for coffee after our workout.
On another positive and funny note- my house has been spotless these past couple of weeks. It appears I have much more time if I'm not on here.

We were supposed to be posting to Canberra next year but I think that's been put on hold for another 2 years now. I am soooo done with this posting though!
I hope bubba starts to sleep better for you soon!
