Default the glamorous aspects of pregnancy nobody told you about!

just wondering if anyone has found there are aspects or bits of pregnancy that nobody told them to expect. like gross or embarrassing or unglamorous things that happen, but nobody openly discusses.

my main two gripes are increased vaginal discharge, to the point where I've been wearing liners as I can't stand the damp undies feeling. and leaky boobs. took my bra off last night and some clear fluid was leaking out. I've had it in the insides of my bra too and know what it is, but why does nobody mention these things? I thought my boobs were infected the first time it happened or something was wrong with me!

so what's your not so nice discovery about pregnancy?

They also leak after giving birth if breastfeeding. I had to use so many nursing pads to soak it up. Did not expect that.

Pregnancy - the last stages I would get cramps in my legs randomly. Also the discomfort towards the end, I took 3 weeks off before baby was due and just could not relax at home bc it was so uncomfortable to sit and sleep.

There are so many.... And here I thought I had done my research.

    Discharge: here here!

All day nausea. I had romantic ideas about waking up to have a little nausea one morning then getting a test at which point the happy couple fall into each other's arms. Reality: All I wanted was to be alone in a cold dark room and Sleep 24 hrs. For weeks. Until I took medication.

Exhaustion and insomnia. How can you have both at the same time anyway?

sudden boob growth. In the sixth week? Come on.

Snoring due to swollen airways in third trimester, think this was related to my preeclampsia though. It got so bad DH kicked me out to the spare room the last few weeks 😒
Doing a Gary while peeing and not being able to stop it. Especially when peeing during the night. DH thought it was hilarious.

The massive drooling while you sleep! This one is just gross. Goes with the snoring cos your mouth is wide open. And then there's the extra wind!!!! Omg I think I cleared a supermarket once.

You mean there are glamorous aspects to pregnancy?

Haemmoroids (haven't had them so far in this pregnancy)
    stretchmarks
struggling to get dressed in late pregnancy
insomnia and struggling to be comfortable, sitting and sleeping.
Losing all dignity giving birth. LOL

Ok... digestive issues. One day constipation and the next you are running to the bathroom every 2 mins.

Discharge is horrible. Add to that heat and then you get thrush. Yay.

Insomnia - and added to that restless legs.

The general swelling etc down there.

    Horrible skin!
