First was unplanned
Second (and last!) was planned

First was kind of planned- we weren't trying but weren't preventing. At that stage we were under the impression dh would probably never father a child. So although we were *hoping* it would happen, it was a huge surprise when it actually did.
Dd2 was a surprise
Dd3 and dd4 were planned although happened a lot faster than expected so surprises in that sense.
Baby #5 was a surprise.

One planned - three surprises

DS1 was planned, DS2 was surprising but not unexpected. We weren't trying but we weren't taking precautions because we were going to start trying.

Both planned. Any further children will be accidents.

All three were planned and we were very fortunate to conceive 1st or 2nd month trying with all three.
I'd have loved a fourth but it just isn't ever going to happen and I'm at peace with that.

First was planned (ivf). Second was a surprise as we didn't think it would happen naturally.

1st and 2nd were planned, 3rd was a pleasant surprise, 4th was planned, 5th!!!...still cant believe the surprise and he is 1.
Always wanted 4 and would have liked to have 2 and 2 with larger age gap between the pairs. Never ever thought we would have 5 but now we are here I could even go one more if health and home permitted in a few more years.

1st was a surprise. Next 3 were planned. People look at me like I'm a bit odd as apparently planning 4 under 4.5 isn't common. I don't know haha.
