Has anyone ever stayed at an APARC/PARC (step-up/step-down residential facility)? Did it help?
Because they are having to wait too long for an available hospital bed and we don't want for me to have to wait in emergency & be transferred anywhere in the state to an available inpatient bed, the CAT team are doing a referral for this as they think I'm too unstable to stay at home particularly on my own. It is unlikely they will take me until I've had an inpatient stay due to their self harming rules anyway but it is likely that I will need to go there after a hospital stay anyway due to needing the step-down process.
