I would absolutely do it. Hopefully won't take long before another day becomes available. It might happen next term which is only a few weeks away.
I've had DD in different types of care on different days for the last 18 months or so, and while she loves routine, she's adapted really well. She knows the differences in providers and the various routines at each: eg at daycare she can wear dresses but not at kinder. At kinder you take your own lunch and snack but daycare has a cook. Wednesday = Daddy's day but Tuesday is swimming with grandfather. She loves and thrives on variety and change, and I'm a bit like that too, I think it is good to be adaptable in life!

How old is your DS? I'd probably do it. Actually I nearly did with DD once when I was pregnant with DS and i had to quickly find a spot.
