There's this guy I see walking around the nearby suburbs. He's big and muscly with tatts. Very macho-looking with a permanent scowl on his face. Even the way he walks looks like he holds a grudge against the ground. The kind of guy people would cross the road to avoid.

He has this teeenie tiny fluffy dog that's always with him. He gives it a cuddle before he ties it up outside shops, and carries it under his arm if he's walking a long way/if it's hot.

    So adorable!

Old people in general make me smile. But I also feel sad at the same time. I have so much respect for them & often wonder what they think of how the world is now compared to their days when they were young.
I always take the time to try & help them or just say hello.

Another thing that makes me smile... When people trip or fall over! Not like a serious fall where they injure themselves but a trip which they don't actually fall over or if they do they skim the surface. The look on their faces is priceless 🙊
I'm sure if it happened to me, I would also make someone else smile so it's ok lol.

^ ok so probably shouldn't of said I smile when people trip over because guess what?? Karma got me. I tripped when getting out of the car on school run & could possibly have 2 broken toes 😳 luckily it wasn't a full on fall & no one was around 🙈 Feel free to smile at my expense

Yes to the old people holding hands! I always look at them and hope that DH and I are like that when we're old.

My thing is watching birds flying. I love it. I love it when I'm at the park with the kids and I notice birds soaring high above. They always look so free and happy. And when they come in to land on a branch I always admire their skill. I would love to be a bird.

Kids wearing costumes to the shops. In particular, when they wear things that are "traditionally" not intended for their gender. Boys in skirts or with hair accessories, girls in superhero costumes - that kind of thing. Love it!

I spend a bit of time at the local livestock sale yards and there are some retired farmers who are regulars for the social side. Always in a shirt, tie and blazer with a hat or knitted vest depending on the season.

I like seeing families riding bikes or skateboards together and young kids with (real) surfboards.

    Yes! @MoonMoon
I smile every time I see a boy with hair clips or a pink shirt; a girl in a batman costume or with short hair, or just a kid whose gender I couldn't possibly guess.
