In public that's made you smile?
A lot of bushies come to my town to retire. It's a big town but still has the country vibe and it has everything you need. Brisbane is a day trip away too so it's in a great location. So that's why we get bushies here.
I absolutely love seeing the old country men taking their faithful old work dogs for a walk. It's such a true sign of mateship, seeing them both walking along, proud as punch and happy with each other's company.

Kites. I love seeing people fly kites. Makes me stop every time for a few minutes and just watch.
Also when we lived in Melbourne watching the hot air balloons. I really miss them.
And people swimming with their dogs at our local dog beach. The love between them makes me smile all the time.

Sounds a bit awful but seeing other parents at the shops struggling with their babies/toddlers makes me smile. It's nice to know I'm not the only one.
I especially enjoy seeing them being given chocolate as bribes to keep them quiet lol

Old couples holding hands and old people who still dress up. Esp old ladies who wear make up, hair done, beautifully dressed. I admire them a lot.

I could be one of those old couples who walk around holding hands. we do that most of the time. I love watching people who know the dances, dance. I love watching the rockabilly style, I cant stop smiling when I see them. also the older style dances, what my mum would call New Vouge. it is so much fun just watching a couple who know the steps, and they are having a good time. marie.

Oh Marie, I love watching people dance too, especially the "old style" dancing. So beautiful.
Something else that makes me smile is seeing Dad's with their kids.
