Default First ultrasound 6+3 - what will I see?

My first scan is next Tuesday and I will be 6+3. Will I see a heartbeat? My scan with DS was at 7w exactly and I saw a little bean with a hb. Hoping to see the same next week.

With DS2 I saw a heart beat by then but with belly baby we didn't see heart beat until 7+2. Don't panic if you don't see it this time.

Edit - I only say don't panic because when o didn't see a heartbeat with belly baby I spent the next week in misery certain it was all over! Stressed myself for nothing 😊

At 6w4d DS had a heartbeat. BUT as I laid on the table for my OB to do the scan he flat out said not to be upset if there was no heartbeat, that he just wanted to see a yolk sac and fetal pole and would look for a heartbeat the following week.

    Good luck. X

Yep, we saw a hb with both my babies at that time. And both times the obs did warn me that we may not see hb but not to panic as it is early. Such an amazing feeling when you do see the hb flickering.

We saw our bubs hb at 6+3 with an internal ultrasound. Dont worry if you dont hear one as a few extra days can make all the difference. Goodluck

I didn't see my baby's heartbeat at 6w, but there it was at 7w! I spent a week being stressed so now I always make myself wait until 7 wks just to be sure. Fingers crossed you see a tiny beating heart!

I saw a HB at 6 weeks with DS, they warned me we might not as I had it early as we were going on holidays. Hope you see a lovely HB next week.
