Default Party ideas for an 8y old DD.

I need ideas for DD's 8th birthday party. I tend to go completely OTT with parties ( thanks Pinterest) and I was looking at an Enchanted Wood party but I am not sure how that fits into our tropical , palm tree , filled garden. It just won't have that enchanted feeling LOL. I'm totally out of ideas this year! ( DD wants the Enchanted one after looking on pinterest with me).

Could you do a Hawaiian theme? Or would it be too cold by then?

Enchanted forest for me brings up images of fairies, magic, stars, etc.
I would just put up some decorations even if you have palm trees I still think it would look great.
Some things that come to mind would be draping some chiffon to make hideaways, hanging shiny crystal style decorations etc

I think you could still pull off that theme.

    Other theme ideas:

Beach party (surfboards, towels, sand, sun, inflatable toys)
Alice in Wonderland (tea party style)
    Summer fun (flamingos, pineapples)
    Jungle (animal prints etc)

You could do a tropical enchanted garden- fairy lights, draped chiffon etc as a pp mentioned but give it a bit of a tropical twist.
