    Default Dying in Perth

Anyone else trying to sleep but sweltering? 10pm and 33 degrees. And more fires down south.

Yuck. Dreading school drop offs and work tomorrow. Another 42 degree day.

Luckily my house is quite cool tonight as I had the aircon all day....If I have to turn it on to sleep tonight I will!
My poor DD is in her 2nd week of highschool and the aircon wasn't working for her last 3 classes and then power went out so no fans either...yuck..was like when I was at school haha!

The heat doesn't bother us too much. We only have a portable air con unit and ceiling fans.

I am though dreading kindy for dd Wednesday...its her half day starting at 12:30 - drop off smack bang in the middle of the day. We may not have a lovely cool house but I'd still rather be inside than out

It is awful! We are very lucky in that we have air con in our house, but my poor hubby works outside, really feel for him during this disgusting heat! Hate venturing outside when its like this, bring on winter!!

Our house is great, good air con and set up well for summer with verandas and trees around, but it's going to be 43 here today and 44 tomorrow.

Those temps get me scared for my animals The dogs and cat I can bring inside today because I'm home, but I'll be working tomorrow. It's our chickens and ducks I really panic about though. They've got great areas with lots of shade, but those temps are just too hot anyway! So instead of being in my cool house, I'll probably be outside half the day wetting them down with the hose and putting bags of ice in the duck pool!

I am over it. It's so stinking hot that we basically aren't turning the aircon off but there not the best when it gets above 39-40. We're thinking of going and buying some blackout blinds today to help as we have no blinds at all in the lounge and big beautiful windows.

I want to be able to go for a picnic at the park, let the boys run off steam and I can do some walking to encourage this baby to arrive but we can't

I have a Drs appointment at 8.45 tomorrow and I'm too scared to walk to it! It's going to be so hot!

My office aircon has crapped out so its soooo hot. We moved our mattress out to the lounge under the aircon last night because I couldn't sleep. Probably doing the same again tonight.
