A big welcome to the newbies!!

Where's everyone at? Anyone BDing yet? I'm cd15 and waiting to O this weekend (hopefully tomorrow).

Had an argument with DH today about starting IVF next cycle. He has been so supportive and in favour of it all but has suddenly changed his mind when reading about birth defects. Made me so angry when he told me to stop overthinking everything... Like hello, this whole ttc business is entirely consuming!!! Grr

Well we are BD'ing but no idea where I am in my cycle after the miscarriage . Saw my doctor yesterday who has referred me to an ob who is also a fertility specialist (not sure if they all are or not??) for some testing as this is my second loss. I'm a bit concerned but hoping we fall pregnant with a sticky bub before I even see her!!

Men are fickle things sometimes. Mine freaked out when I picked up my clomid script - even though I had to wait another month for my cycle to end before I could start taking them. We even almost took this cycle off - seriously! We bought condoms on Tuesday and DH messaged me on Wednesday from work asking if it was too late - I took my first clomid pill that day.
    Hopefully your DH comes around

I am CD6, AF has left but sadly no lovin' for me tonight. One of my boys is in hospital with an asthma flare-up so that's where I am tonight as well. One bonus is that the air con is counter-acting the clomid hot flushes and sweats lol

Only CD2 for me today! Waiting for AF to bugger right off so we can start BD! Did anyone consider not TTC this month to avoid a Christmas baby?

Welcome to all the newbies! I've been away from the forum for a few days as we had a few things going on! I'll be an early tester in March, the 6th if AF doesn't turn up first.

Im worried we may have missed this month, stupid clear blue OPKs went from negative to peak with no flashing face indicating high days, DH has been away so we haven't dtd all week, he got back last night but I'm recovering from the flu and thought we had days so missed out on the chance to dtd and woke to a positive test! Off to get a CD21 ultrasound to check lining so maybe good to miss this month but crap to have to wait longer! We dtd today, as you don't ovulate for 24-36 hours after a positive LH surge (presuming it didn't happen to many hours before the test??) do you think we have a chance?

Also does anyone know anything about semen analysis results? DH did the test before I went ahead with more invasive tests and came back with low motility (just below acceptable levels) and a "potentially fertile" diagnosis he's not worried as we have a toddler but it's concerning me that this my be recent health related and delay the chances of conceiving. Does anyone know what's "normal" (in terms of %) and if sperm quality can be improved (I know it takes a couple of months to produce but can quality be altered?) and has anyone had lower sperm motility and still conceived naturally? Thanks in advance for anyone's experience. Ps sorry for the essay!

My next cycle would have me due around Christmas we won't be stopping - If that's the month I finally get my rainbow baby, that's more than ok with me.

@Sabochan you're right, perhaps he's just overwhelmed with everything at the moment. I know he will support me in whatever I decide. I just feel like we've wasted so much time already. Need to bite the bullet. Sorry to hear about your son's asthma attack... I had bad asthma as a kid and still remember it being quite scary. At least you've found the silver lining (air con) though!
@Britt1989 this time last year, yes. But after trying for over a year you begin to realise that a baby at any time of the year would be a blessing, and a Christmas baby would just be all the more magical.
@Jan01 my DH has had 3 SA's done throughout our infertility journey. His was at 26% which doctors said was enough to conceive with. From memory the "normal" cutoff was about 32%? Don't quote me though. I know you can take supplements for boosted motility. DH is trying ProFertil this cycle on recommendation from our FS. Good luck!

It'd only stop me if I was due really close to XMAS. DS2 is the 18th December, but he's only had one birthday so I'm not sure how much of an inconvenience it'll really be.

Thanks @MusicalMumma good to know what other doctors have said DH was at 30% with quiet low morph as well but a plus was high count. I don't think men get the emotional connection women have with ttc, it's not just a yay lots of sex situation but an every waking moment thought absorbing process that can be shattering every month when AF arrives and the longer it takes the more on edge we become!
@Britt1989 we will be trying for a December Bub as well if the month doesn't happen, it's hard to time anyway, my DD was a week early, friends have been 2 weeks late and I have a work colleague who had a premmie 7 weeks early. So if you factor in all possibilities you'd almost have to rule out a cycle before and after as well and I'm to impatient for that!

Welcome. I've been thinking the same as my youngest is 5.5years old lol.

AFM: really surprised how mellow I've been on my IVF nasal spray as it's meant to wipe out hormones and cause menopause like symptoms. Bit worried it's not working because of the no symptoms lol.
