Bah ha ha It will just be regular whipped cream I think.

DH is hanging around like a bad smell. He doesn't get the concept of cooling the cake before putting the icing sugar on. I told him it would go all gluggy and yuck if I did it too soon.

And yet still he is hovering.

    Go away DH. My cake!

Nice cake blossom! My dh watching food channel in front of me so between your yummy cake and the food porn on tv I'm getting pretty hangry. The beans on toast I just ate not very satisfying!

Hi ladies.. thanks so much for your support and validating my decision. It means a lot for me. Blondeinbrisvegas to be honest , I don't know the exact time frame for our fet into the surrogate is, but I am thinking it will be about 4 months and the delay will be in getting our embryos released from Monash and nothing else.. The clinic there is charging us 30,000 euros (45000 aud) for everything. Our travel etc is ofcourse on top of that.. That incudes transferring our 3 tested embryos and if they don't work, then unlimited attempts with donor eggs till we have a take home baby. I have tried finding a surrogate here in Aus as well but couldn't, and its not cheap here as well, its abt 25 to 30 thousand as Wazza said... I know its expensive, but we have spent a similar amount here as well on multiple failed ivfs. Hopefully it all goes through, we are seeing independent legal advice as well to avoid any complications after the baby is born...

@Sue77 so early next year you will be a mumma. Unlimited attempts until you have your take home babies is fantastic. Good luck to you and DH you must feel relieved to finally have a workable plan.

Yes it's expensive but if you & DH have the money (or can get the money) why the hell wouldn't you try?? I know I would Luv if I were in your position & had the means to do so!!😊

I can imagine getting the embies released & sent o/seas to the new Clinic would be the tricky bit. Hopefully Monash will co-operate & facilitate that as quickly as possible.

It'll work Luv!! A surrogate with no immune issues (or any other kind) plus a PGD tested emby = take home baby!!!😊👍

You've got a few tries with your OE embryo's but I don't think you'll need to use them all Luv before you get your BFFP!!! Am excited for you!!xo

Agree too @Sue77 that you're getting a great deal with that Clinic for the $.

One way or another you will be getting your take home baby...or 2 even!!!😊

@Sue77 congratulations on making a decision about surrogacy. I imagine it was very intense, but you've got there. I hope that it works with your frosties, but as you said, you're definitely going to be a mum!

AFM. I'm mid stimming cycle and expect EPU to be Thursday. Thanks for thinking of me when you've had so much going on.
