    @Precious40 Oh Luv...

    Yes, please take some time off work if you feel you need a bit of a breather to gather your thoughts and feelings. Maybe ask the GP while you're there to set you up with a Mental Health Plan so you can access a Psychologist (preferably one that deals with grief and/or fertility issues etc) for a greatly reduced price or even free.

    That in combination with some meds possibly might be what you need to get you back onto an even emotional keel again plus give you the strength and the courage to move forward and try again when you're ready

    @Precious40, when I went to the GP he insisted I take time off, I sobbed all over him! He really validated the grief involved with IVF. I had to come clean with my boss but she was very understanding. People wouldn't question how much time off you've taken if a relative had passed, the grief and trauma you've been through certainly warrants a "take as much time as you need"

    @Precious40 like the others have said you've been to hell and back this past month, with an ectopic at the end of it all. I had a lot of anxiety after mine so it can play havoc with your emotions and mental state. And you've also just had surgery so you've had a lot to deal with. The hormones (plus all the drugs) still in your body are another factor, take some time off work, you need to look after yourself.

    I second getting a mental health plan from your GP as this was what i did and she found me a counsellor who specialised in the area of infertility etc. It just helps to unload some of the grief and anger and whatever else you are feeling, sometimes its only after you've been a few times that you look back and feel that its helped. But I really believe that it always helps.

    Take your time with it, your other embies are not going anywhere so get yourself better and then think about the next steps.

    Winsor looking forward to hearing your good news later today.

    Bib sorry your little one is still really sick. Hopefully the gp can give you something to help.

    Precious40 please take time off work and look after yourself. You have just had surgery and are also dealing with a lot of emotions. I found when all my hormones went (about 2 weeks after my d&c) the grief came out again. One time I just started crying at work and couldn't stop. My boss ended up paying for a taxi to take me home. I also agree with counselling. I found it really helped me. Please put yourself first and work a very distant second.

    @Precious40 if you're not up to work I think you should definitely take some time off. You've had a traumatic few weeks and it will have taken its toll - it's a natural response to all you've been through and you need to be gentle on yourself. Maybe also think about getting a mental health plan and seeing a psychologist? Thinking of you.

    Thanks @Bongley EPU was today. I am absolutely over the moon. So much I had a tear once I got home and set my lounge position up. We got 6 eggs. (Last round was 2 eggs). I don't think we could have done any better than that. My AMH is 9.4. I am very thankful.. xx

    RPAH confirmed we're pregnant!

    they said it's still very early

    I have to have another blood test on 29/02 then first scan is 07/03.

    HCG=658 (I was expecting ~520 for doubling rates of 129 at day15 to today day19 so this is higher which is good) (day13=74, day15=129, day19=658)

    progesterone=97 (day13=59, day15=55, day19=97)

    they're different to the chart on that site, but it seems to double every 24hrs not 48-72? I think it's all ok anyway. still early days but we're feeling good

    thanks for all your well wishes, the you're all sending is working!

    Robyn asked if I'd been testing as she said I didn't scream loudly enough so must have been expecting the news. oops. this must be the best part of their jobs.
