@BlondeinBrisvegas - I had a look at your numbers for your BFP (in signature) and am praying we might replicate them and get our miracle egg. I just don't have a good feeling after yesterday - might just be IVF-fatigue combined with a lurgy. Although we do produce pretty fragile embies as both DH and I have multiple issues.

I've been in recovery when women have got zero. It's awful. Some have appeared to only be in their 20s. Just devastating. We only got Embryoscope spot yesterday, so whilst we are glad for us, I hope that means somebody's EPU got delayed and wasn't a horrid result. It was early morning so I don't imagine many EPUs had happened.

I'm on all of Wazza's magical range, plus various PCOS bits and bobs. I double checked DHEA with him (after researching your comments about PCOS), and he said in my case he wants me on it, although he often wouldn't for PCOS. This is cycle 3 with him. For #1 and #2 I hadn't had much DHEA as we started ASAP for #1, so a week or two of DHEA before stopping to stim, and then #2 was back-to-back after TWW, so a day's worth as flare cycle. I'll talk to him about it some more and also flare vs down-reg. I've been on melatonin for 9 months (pre-Wazza).

I hope one you are feeling better?

    Default IVF over 40 #26

@Gagingi why thank you for the orgas info prior to ET.. I am about to overshare but we just had to make up for our directed abstinence on Valentines Day, as EPU is Monday. Only couple in Australia banned from having sexy time on Valentines day (apart from other IVF patients booked for EPU Mon). And we couldnt dtd today either with EPU rules. So we had to do next best. 😜💋 Didnt realise how uptight I felt till now! I wilk start baby aspirin Mon. Thanks all for the information. I really appreciate it.
Congrats on the eggs and fertilised as well @Gagingi Hoping the 4 fertilised are strong and healthy for you. I am measuring with 5 mature at this stage, so I think you did exceptional.

@Gagingi sorry you didn't get the numbers you were hoping for, I know that disappointment. I had empty follicles and it was a kick in the guts. Especially when you are used to getting good numbers (and then seeing them dwindle down so quickly) yes, lets hope those 4 are good quality, I don't think empty follicles is any indication of that.
@Billie2 good luck with your 5 follicles, hope your trigger went off smoothly!

Yes, I finally got the energy to end our 'drought' on friday night. 2 months worth. That's a shocker.

Have been up since 3am with a vomiting DD (on top of cough/snotty nose)

Have had to strip both our beds + 3 sets of clothes for her. She threw up all down the front of herself, Ex-DP & the loungeroom floor at 5am

I bathed her while Ex-DP cleaned himself & the floor up. I called the Home Dr Service at 5.45am but our area is fully booked out so no go with them.

Another home service don't start until 12 pm today so called a 3rd lot & am on the list though they couldn't tell me when a doctor would come. Said to call back in 4 hrs if he/she hasn't arrived

DD's asleep on the lounge & I've just hung out my second load of washing. 1 to go. Have just walked down to the servo and back to grab a paper in the interim whilst sculling back a very strong home made percolated on the stove top in my Italian coffee pot skinny latte.

Am booked in to see our GP tomorrow arvo anyway but don't want to wait that long just in case though DD has no temperature so prob just another virus from frucking DC or maybe the shopping centre yesterday???

    Happy bloody V-Day Everybody!!!

P.S....On a brighter note, I did buy myself a box of Cadbury Roses yesterday for today and Christ knows it looks like I'm going to need the "sugar hit" to keep me going!!!

Wish I was Nurse frigging Jackie!!! Would have an arsenal of "uppers" at my disposal then!!!

good luck @Gagingi for your embies, 4 is a decent number but I can understand your nervousness about the next few days. This part of it all is the worst bit as far as I'm concerned, so I feel for you. I'm sending you lots of good luck vibes

@BlondeinBrisvegas you poor luv. Have you ever rung 13health (13 43 25 84). It's Qld Health. Nurses triage symptoms and let you know how quickly they need medical attention. They also put me through to a doctor once when it was required. They might put your mind at rest - they are usually pro-treatment, so if they say tomorrow is okay I'd be comfortable with that. Our GP (on the southside), is there early this morning, but probably a bit of a hike for you?

I hope she feels better soon, the doctor turns up, and sanity is restored.

@Maxwellsmum our cat developed asthma at about 16. Any chance it might be that? At least he is with you and knows he is loved.

@Bongley did you find once you had empty follicles that was it and you always got that/got worse, or did it vary with the protocol? The 4 are still going today (day 2) which is a relief, although early days.

Maybe it's something to do with his thyroid or kidneys Luv??

Either a way, a vet visit wouldn't hurt I reckon.
