you just reminded me that I dreamt last night I said to DH that I needed to buy a pill organiser ! WTF!! I think it was because of ABC 7.30 last night had a story on the IVF industry and the woman's story sounded pretty much like me and she was dishing out tonnes of pills and potions on the kitchen bench to her and her DH. DH and I just laughed and were like..yeah..looks familiar!

they were saying that there are some clinics in Aus that have had a 4% live birth rate per transfer but the problem is people don't have access to the data that spells it out to people. Just what we've been talking about. Its prob on iView if you are interested

@Precious40 Hoping all went well with your procedure this morning Luv Have been thinking of you

Hello to all the other Lovelies.......

Been flat out today thus far. Had a follow up specialist appointment at the hospital at 8.30am this morning so had to drop DD off at DC at 7am then hot foot it over to my sisters (as luck would have it, she had an appointment herself up there an hour after mine for something different so we went together) by 7.30am.

Been awake since 3.30 am coughing/honking all night!! Am still bloody sick with that Lurgy and it's moved into my sinus/chest now FFS's!!! On the plus side, I have got my voice back!!! DD still can't quite shake hers either. We're probably riding the "Reinfection Carousel' together and just passing it back and forth between us both so that neither of us can get shot of it for good!!!

Have also hit "PMS City" with AF due in 4 days and can feel my "Biatchometer" rising slowly but surely as the fog of moodiness begins to snake it's way around me until I'll eventually be swallowed by a cloud of sh!ttiness!!!

Anyhoo....am retiring to the lounge as I'm bloody exhausted and really can't be frucked doing the domestic drudgery that I'm supposed to today. Shall be watching from the sidelines and commenting when possible.

Enjoy the rest of your day Girls!!!!xoxox

Charlie if it helps I think caffeine leaves your system pretty quick. I know if I drink it for a few days then stop, I get a headache 1-2 days later so I don't think it lasts long (don't know officially). but I'm sure nothing you've done (eat/drink) has affected it. I just keep thinking stressed business women in New York get pregnant and drink heaps of coffee and have lots of stress so if they can then it can't be a huge factor? I think you'd have to be drinking a lot of it to make an effect anyway. 1-2 cups prob isn't going to make much impact. I always thought it was implantation it affected not lining (but could be wrong) you only had a couple of mm to go to reach 6mm didn't you so I'm sure you'd be there if not over by now. I try to listen to really ambient music if feeling super-stressed - it literally washes it away from me and calms me down. find some Brian Eno (music for.. series) or Harold Budd. or a compilation called "...and the darkness came" (there is 1-2 screechy songs which I delete/skip when stressed). and the headphones will keep your office mates away. taking some deep breaths helps too (from your tummy).

BiB, I hope you both feel better soon. rest up

aimee, what a pain. sorry I don't know how it all works with donors, but I hope you find another soon

@BlondeinBrisvegas lay back and enjoy having a rest, its so sh!te being sick!! I had a throat infection back in November and still have the ends of it to this day, its been the slowest thing to get rid of ever. I hope it clears for you both! Ive been PMS like this week too but I haven't ovulated yet so think its just cranky pants from no wine!! frucking infertility
@Charlie74 stop googling!!! step away from the computer.. There aint nothing more you can do so just take some deep breaths and tell yourself there is nothing more you could have done. If there was an exact formula to any of this we'd all be mothers long ago so try and stay calm (or get calm ) and cross your fingers and toes. Honestly stressing yourself out like that won't do anyone any good. You have to let go and just hope for the best at some point

its so quiet in here today

Right @Charlie74...will you transfer your precious embryo if your lining is 6mm tomorrow? A yes or no answer is required.

Sperm donor aimee999? Yeah, I know Monash only reserve them for 3 months. Did the donor you had selected only have 1 slot left and now that's been allocated to some-one else? Good luck choosing some-one else if that's the case. If you choose some-one you're not 100% keen on ring the clinic the week before to see who is new on the list. xx

Uhm, @BlondeinBrisvegas are you saying both us single ladies are due AF on Valentines Day??!!!
I'm sorry both you and DD are in the vicious cycle of passing lurgies back and forth to each other. It sucks. Mine moved down into my chest too and Ventolin is my bestfriend. I'm just glad my body doesn't feel like I've been hit by a truck any-more. I hope you feel the same way very soon. Big hugs hun, xx.
@Summer In the name of SISRI research, I'm reporting back that Jaffa's are doing wonders to alleviate PMT. @BlondeinBrisvegas might also be able to contribute as to what's helping her PMT, as gauged by her Biatchometer.
