Default Berwick Maternity Hospital, Casey, St John of God

    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can recommend any maternity hospitals around Berwick, Victoria? W
e have PHI so either looking at St John of God or Casey public Hospital.

Has anyone been to Casey recently? A lot of the reviews are quite old so its hard to know if it has improved. I had one friend who went there who said it was good and got a private room but all the reviews are not great.

Can anyone recommend that works out at SJOG?

    Any advice if appreciated.

    Thanks

Casey still has a pretty poor reputation. I'm in Cranbourne so I have dandenong and frankston as well. It is a bit harder in Berwick though. I personally would not go to Casey.

    Default My experience was positive

I went to Casey hospital for my 6 week dating scan. Currently pregnant with my first. I found them to be easy to book, and the scan was straightforward with a lovely tech.
I'm yet to need any other appointments and waiting for Monash to call me to book in midwife appointments. Ive heard great things about Frankston but live in Clyde north so not sure If im able/ eligible to go down there.

Hi!! My best friend had her first baby at SJOG 2 years ago and is having her second one also there in Dec... she recommends it so much I'm going to have mine there in March!

Mind you they are building the new centre, which will be available to tour from Nov and they will start deliveries there in Jan

I had a choice of going to Casey or warragul, i personally went to warragul (all zoned now) i worked in berwick next to Casey hospital never had good reviews, but it will all depend on who you get, my sister had two at casey and didnt have problem, but ive heard really outstanding comments about sjog.
