love the idea of using the child's birthstone for the eternity ring. if I pop in feb then it's amethyst, if I go in March it's aquamarine. both are so pretty.

Yeah, I really like the idea as well although I wonder if I'd be less likely to grow out of just going plain diamonds? That's why I want the ring to be fairly 'dainty' and not too strong in color as I feel for me that would stay more timeless. This next baby is due the end of May so could be June as well and just found June is alexandrite which changes from purple to blue or pearl...I could probably make those work 😆. But I'm anticipating May as DS was a few days early so I imagine this baby being similar. December for Dd are two blue stones or tanzanite which comes in a few colors.

Or I could just get three rings....😉😂

Just get three rings. Seriously, it's the logical, sensible choice

My wedder was a Michael Hill special (we were broke when we got married 😛), the engagement ring originally belonged to my DH's grandma and she married in 1942, so it's older than that! The setting is hand set platinum and diamond, although I got the band replaced when I got engaged in 2007.
The eternity is just a diamond band.

I forget to wear my eternity ring as I don't wear it the 'traditional' way on my left hand with my other rings, I wear it alone on my right hand.

Will have to upload a pic.

First pic is my wedder and engagement ring together.

Second is my eternity ring and lastly what all 3 look like together on (quite silly) so I wear the eternity ring separately on my right hand (when I remember to put it on).

My wedding and engagement rings are in a similar style to yours. My birthstone is sapphire and I have a sapphire and diamond eternity ring.ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1454761368.370250.jpg

I'm looking at having an eternity ring made to match the wedding band, featuring the kids birthstones as well to mix things up a bit. ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1454896611.989135.jpg
