    Default Hypo birthing, Hypotherapy, Doulas

    Hey mums

My second birth is coming up in a few months and am getting more and more nervous.

Just wondering if any of you have used things like Hypobirthing or used a doula?

I had an epidural with my first birth and not against that but would like to see what other options are out there to assist.

And if you have, were there many classes involved? Or just 1?

    Many thanks x

Assuming you mean hypnobirthing? I haven't done it (I did calmbirth with my first), but my prenatal yoga teacher (who is also a doula) offers courses, it usually run over 5 weeks (an hour? Class per week?). I imagine some would offer shorter wknd classes though - best to check in your area.

I couldn't afford either this time but do use hypnobirthing techniques.

I did calm birth for my 3rd and highly recommend it. . My sister and DH who were present at all births couldn't believe the difference. We did 5 sessions over 5 weeks but there was also weekend options.
