    5 minutes walk? Or is it 5 minutes by car? I can cover nearly 3km to the end of our road in the car in 5 minutes, but that would take me about 40 minutes one way. If I have time, sure, just depends.

    Walk. Haha it's my only legal option as I don't have a license. But hopefully even when I get my license I would almost always choose walking over driving. Incidental exercise is so important to overall health- much more than going to the gym everyday. Even moreso for kids IMO. My kids walk everywhere!

    Same! This is our road. If I want exercise I've got 84 acres of farm I can walk on, I don't need to go out on the road! Oh and our neighbour's cows got out, lol.

    Our house it at the bottom of a valley- there's no way out but up a big hill no matter which way you go (apart from school, thankfully which is also in the valley) hills are good for you!

    We have a small group of shops around the corner - literally a 4 minute walk so if it was something I needed up there I would walk ( or send DH!) if it's further than that then drive!
