I agree there needs to be at least some sort of undercover area or plenty of sunscreen for the children when these bomb threats are happening. I hate to think if one was actually real. If the threats are coming from Russia, I hope someone can be punished. I understand if it is found to be hoax, there is a serious charge in Australia. ?? marie.

A school in my town was evacuated today.
I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being some local knob who has heard the news and thought it would be funny.
Having said that, who the hell knows?!?
Of course it caused mass panic on local social media with all kinds of rumours floating around and people saying they weren't allowed to pick their kids up and others saying they could. The world has gone mad

I can remember at school getting evacuated and everyone loved it because you got out of school work. So different now though.
Unfortunately there could be many local copy cat idiots phoning up

I had someone say today that surely there comes a point where the threats are ignored and we don't evacuate the kids. I kind of understand the thought but can't imagine how no threat that poses a risk to kids could ever be ignored.
More schools in Victoria affected too today, what kind of day and age are we living in where we are glad not to get an email from the school saying a bomb threat.
It's a sick game to play threatening children and I hope it ends very shortly.

Thursday last week I heard it started.
Melbourne was effected Friday and yesterday.
Some theorists are beginning to believe that the people doing it are establishing the response time of police, to be able to pin point areas that could really cause problems. It's a scary thought.
I'd like to think it's a stupid kid with the yellow pages.
