    Default Medicare safety net threshold

So I noticed today that our safetynet threshold is the lower amount for families getting / eligible for ftb a.
We don't get it and I don't think were eligible so there appears to be an error.
Am I going to have to spend forever on the phone to rectify?

I'm pretty sure if you're not entitled to FTB, then the threshold is $2,030.00

Oh so is it showing a threshold of $647 but you are the $2030 threshold ? If its not urgent, can you send an online enquiry and them look into it for you?

We don't get ftb-a either but our threshold was the same last year. When I queried it at CL they couldn't explain it and I ended up getting my ivf cycle for $600. I guess I will see if I have to pay them back at the EOFY?

That's what I'm worried about, we are close to the $600 odd threshold 😳

Unfortunately there was nothing I could do about it. Dh doesn't claim the tax free threshold and gets a good return each year so it will be taken out of that.
