Hi @bindyboop my sister is also a naturopath and has given me a world of information in my quest to become a mum and my partner a dad.
I assume your husband has done a sperm analysis previously. We were advised to stay off alcohol, coffee, I took In Natal a multivitamin, fish oil and vitamin D. Your partner can be doing the same and also zinc tablets which is good for sperm quality and coq10. Sperm is generated in around 80 days so its good for three months to stick to that. Am sure you both want the sperm health to be in as best a condition as possible. Good luck.

Thanks Jaydee, congrats on your pregnancy! Have you/will you find out the gender?
We have had two sperm analysis done in the last 12 months and have had conflicting info.. the fs said it's fine and naturopath said it was ok but could be better. We spent the last 4 months prior to this cycle on a strict diet and thousands of dollars worth of supplements and acupuncture and it was our worst cycle yet 😩 just can't understand if my blocked tubes are a hindrance to conceiving and egg quality why my fs wouldn't have advised to get them removed or my naturopath didn't push me to prior to my most recent cycle? The naturopath's last words on the phone were 'don't bother doing donor until you get your tubes out'.. We cancelled our follow up appointment with our fs yesterday as we didn't see the point but I have rescheduled for tomorrow just to see what he has to say on the whole tubes topic. Not looking forward to going back to that office 😢

Ok ladies who've been to Embryoland - a question for you ... We are seeing Dr N on 18 July (day 13 of my cycle), and at this stage the only info I've been given is that I'll be on Progynova for my lining in the lead up. My question is - at what stage were you given the final plan/protocol for your egg donor cycle? My FS here was asking questions today, and gave me the impression that there should be more to it than just Progynova for lining and Progesterone for after. He's happy to provide me with whatever scripts I need, just needs to know what the plan is.
I'm in the process of writing Dr N an email, but I have queried him about other meds before, and I don't want to come across as pushy or that I'm trying to second guess him - any guidance or ideas?
Thanks

@bindyboop im not sure about sperm analysis but if the ivf soecialist said it was ok then i would be inclined to listen to them over a naturopath but ive never been to a naturopath. Maybe tell your FS you are thinking if donor eggs and just ask about blocked tubes. You would have time to get them removed if needed and do snother soerm analysis too i suppose. I was worried about ither what if stuff besides my egg quality too. I had a hysteroscopy just to double check stuff but it was still all fine, so probably a waste of money etc... in hindsight. Im not sure about blocked tubed, i think its called hydrosalphynx or something. Other ladies might know? Sorry i cant be more help.
As for getting to greece, its easy. No visa if staying under 30 days. (I think double check on greek embassy website but i know 10 days was fine.) Qatar airways have the fastest, most direct flights atm.
@jaydee32 congrats :-)

@AngelD dr nikos has same plan for me and i told my australian fertility specialist about progynova then progesterone, the nurse at my aus. clinic referred to it as hormone replacement and i asked him what he thought. He said its fine, its what he does and he does that all the time. Fruck its annoying when all different drs say different things though. But i read other clinics protocols online and many had same plan.I assumed there wpuld be more too but maybe thats because ive been so used to own egg ivf. Do you have autoimmune issues or anything that meant you'd need other meds?

Thanks @gorgeousgeorge - I think 'cause Wazza is a "throw everything at them" kind of guy he's focussed on making sure I don't ovulate too early etc. I don't have any other issues, and have fallen naturally, so I think Dr N is happy to keep things as simple as he can. We're seeing him Day 13, and I've never O'd earlier than Day 15 (as far as I know) so I guess it's just
I'll still email him with Wazza's concern and see what he says

Hi ladies
Well Ruth has an update on my DE's. They have now been frozen and will be transferred when I arrive in Athens late July.
This was the report;
1) BL4ba BL4bb2) BL3ab YBLab
Out of the 6, 4 made it.
Can anyone tell me the abbreviations? I am now querying if a AA would be better as I am travelling in a week and its so far? I know everyone is in the same boat
